I'm Moe Santana
In my professional development over the years, I have come to realize three lessons; Find a passion, a calling, and a purpose in life. Second, Impact others in bringing about the change you would like to see in the world. And lastly, keep in pursuit of learning, growing and challenging the status Quo. For as long as I can remember, I've always enjoy a good story telling, the arts and digital graphics. My enjoyment all started back in middle school, when I bought my first sketch book, which I still own.
Fast forward a few years, after suffering an injury that took me out of sports back in 2004, I began my first internship as a graphic designer, photographer and videographer for a non-profit (Citivision Inc.) out of the Washington Heights area of NYC. I also, volunteered in CBL- Citivision Basketball league, which is now known as MBCY athletics. Not knowing where that initial internship would lead me, I went on to attend Liberty University in 2011. After taking a two year break, in which I accepted a job as an Admissions Representive for Liberty University Online, while finishing up my studies in attaining my Bachelors.
At Liberty University, I worked and collaborated with the Admissions, Academic departments, recruiting and marketing departments. I also oversaw the Quality assurance, and training management for their bilingual program. After six years, I decided to return back to NYC. I quickly, found myself connecting once again in the Washington Heights area. As I was asked by Jason Marchena, the Athletic director at Inwood Academic for leadership, to become the MS baseball coach. I'm currently the creative director for FCANYC, a non-profit sports community organization in which focuses in character development and leadership curriculum directed to Coaches and Athletes. As well was contracted as the Athletic Marketing Coordinator at Inwood Academy for Leadership.
